Well that was quite a night, crazily busy, very festive, full of cheering and laughter and to top it all $10,844 was raised for the BVI Humane Society. Who knew fundraising could be such fun. WOW………$21,747 for M.A.L.E. They say that records are for breaking so last night we broke many. Record number one……….THE largest cash donation given by my Quizzers in the room, a massive $2,000 Record number two……….THE highest donation for a Quiz term with an initial finishing total of $14,498 and only in ten weeks. AND THIS IS WHEN IT LEFT ME SPEECHLESS, yes, it does happen occasionally. Breaking all records for Quiz, Reid Thurlow, Managing Director of SHRM Trustees (BVI) Limited and who were our matching Sponsors, at the end of the evening announced that SHRM would not just be doubling the Quizzers donations but TRIPLING them.
