VISAR, Emergency Rescue Service, Tortola recently hosted a New Year 2026 Party at Bamboushay Restaurant and Lounge. VISAR is a voluntary organization dedicated to saving lives at sea, providing 24-hour coverage every day of the year in close cooperation with the Royal British Virain Islands Police. Fire. and Ambulance services. As a search and rescue service, VISAR is equipped with two rescue boats, each carrying full medical kits, AEDs, and other essential equipment. Their volunteers are trained in a diverse array of skills, including emergency first response, rescue boat operations, and helicopter response training drills.
